We were ranked on Naver Bug Bounty Hall of Fame Top 10 in 2019
We created the Hunter JW team with Hacker powerprove, who we are studying together, and achieved 9th and 10th place in Naver Bugbounty in 2019
Studying together is more efficient than doing it alone, and you can enjoy it. Especially, the process of thinking and analyzing security studies together is the most enjoyable for me.
Every night, I studied in the military and printed technical documents (which have nothing to do with military documents) separately to study information security technology. I've been wanting to study with someone after I've been discharged from the military because I've translated the printed documents from English to Korean and studied by myself in a limited space.
Finally, I was discharged from the Korean Army in 2019 by diligently filling in my personal study notes as shown in the photo above.
My friend powerprove, who has been studying with me for a long time, contacted me and asked me to do a project together. He has outstanding capabilities in cybersecurity as a whole, reverse engineering, Purnable (system hacking), and web hacking, but among them, Purnable is the best. I could study harder because I have studied with him.
We found 12 vulnerabilities and were recognized for that. We found and reported vulnerabilities within the scope of software and websites allowed by Naver Corporation. All reported vulnerabilities have been patched and fixed accordingly.
I personally think positively about Bug Bounty. However, Bug Bounty as shown a very passive part of Korea compared to other countries.
Starting with Naver Corporation, various Bug Bounty are being activated in Korea. I plan to participate in Bug Bounty a lot in the future.
